Our Pastor
Pastor LaCarlin Davis was raised up in UPICDC by his parents, Elder Larry and Evangelist Carolyn Davis. Pastor Davis learned about Christ and Christian living where both his parents played a key role in the teaching under the leadership of his Grandparents, Pastor Dorothy and Rev. Sam Glisper.
He remained committed to the mission and vision of the Church and has taken on various roles in the Church throughout the years. Pastor Davis learned to play the keyboard in his early teens under the teaching of his Mother. He then moved on to become the Keyboardist for UPICDC and continues in that roll to date.
Pastor Davis answered the call to preach the gospel and received his License and Ordination at UPICDC, under his Grandmother and Pastor Dorothy Glisper.
Pastor Davis cherishes life and being dedicated to his Wife, First Lady Laura Davis and their four children.
Our Pastor
Pastor Davis currently enjoys a career in Law Enforcement. Pastor Davis enjoys this role, which gives him an opportunity to reach beyond the pulpit or the four walls of the church to help others.
Pastor Davis began to take on a bigger role in the church over the past three years as his Grandmother began grooming him, with God’s direction, to take over leadership of UPICDC. Pastor Davis never liked talking to his Pastor about moving forward without her, but as she always spoke to him, “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.”(Philippians 4:13)
On January 26, 2020, the Lord called Pastor Glisper home and Pastor Davis did as he committed to do, which was carry the Church on. Although days without Pastor Glisper may feel a little heavy, we believe that God will lead us all.
